Note: All program participants must have their doctor's clearance for exercise. There are many reasons why some pregnant women shouldn't exercise including, but not limited to, incompetent cervix, IntraUterine Growth Retardation (IUGR), high blood pressure, premature labor, fever and persistent bleeding. Once you have been given clearance from your medical practitioner you should participate in exercise most days of the week. If while you are exercising you experience any problems with dizziness, abdominal pain or cramping, chest pain, abnormal swelling, decreased fetal movement or anything that doesn't feel right, discontinue and contact your physician immediately.
